Salary: £140-£300 per dayProspero Teaching is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment, supporting students with a range of special educational needs including autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and SENCO to implement EHCPs
  • Monitor and report on student progress
  • Foster a love of learning and help students build confidence in their literacy skills
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working in SEN settings is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
