Start Date: ASAPAbout the Role:GSL Education are currently looking to recruit a compassionate and committed SEN Teacher for a school in Havant.As it is a specialist school in Havant, catering for boys aged 11–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. - Deliver differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Implement strategies and interventions to support learning, communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to develop and implement EHCPs and support plans.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that promotes resilience and confidence.
- Hold QTS/PGCE or an equivalent UK teaching qualification.
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD).
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needs.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
