- Analyse data and market trends to identify commercial pricing solutions.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Partners to support client pitches and develop optimal pricing strategies.
- Model and test fee arrangements to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Maintain and review a database of ongoing fee arrangements, recommending timely revisions.
- Monitor legal market pricing trends and propose innovative approaches.
- Benchmark rates using internal and external data to optimise pricing.
- Prepare pricing performance reports for senior stakeholders.
- Deliver commercial awareness training to fee earners and Partners.
- Support the annual budgeting process for designated practice areas.
- Undertake ad hoc duties as required.
- Significant pricing experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA, or equivalent qualification beneficial but no prerequisite.
- Strong commercial acumen and numeracy.
- Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
