DV Clearance - Must be eligibleAbout the Role:Produce high-quality electrical and mechanical drawings for secure government and maritime projectsCollaborate with engineering and project teams to develop design concepts and refine mechanical designsEnsure compliance with EU directives and relevant technical standards in a regulated environmentKey Responsibilities:Create 2D/3D CAD drawings, STEP files, and Visio diagrams to ISO standardsApply knowledge of electrical safety, BS7671 wiring regulations, and manufacturing techniques for control panels and racksTake ownership of projects, proactively solving problems and managing priorities under changing conditionsEssential Skills & Experience:Minimum HND/HNC qualification or apprenticeship with five years' electrical/systems design experienceProficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and preferably electrical CAD tools (SEE Electrical, ETAP)Experience in producing compliant drawings within a regulated electrical engineering environmentDesirable Attributes:Familiarity with BS8888 2017 and standards for EMC and LVDKnowledge of electrical enclosure manufacturing and material propertiesAbility to recommend CAD software solutions and contribute to continuous improvementWhy Join?Work on critical infrastructure projects supporting national security and maritime operationsJoin a stable, profitable organisation with strong growth prospectsDevelop your expertise in a niche engineering role with significant responsibility and autonomyApply today to contribute your design expertise to impactful, mission-critical projects.
