
Catering Assistant

- Deliver meals and beverages to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure patients dietary needs and preferences are met, including any special dietary restrictions.
- Provide assistance to patients with menu choices and help them with meal requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of food service areas within the ward.
- Assist with the collection and disposal of food trays after meals.
- Communicate any concerns or changes in patients conditions to nursing staff.
- Help create a positive, comfortable environment for patients by offering friendly and compassionate service.
- Ensure that patient rooms are kept tidy and assist with other general tasks as needed.
- Ideally you will have Catering Assistant experience, but training will be given.
- Previous experience of a customer facing role
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work on your own as well as in a team.
- Must have a positive and flexible approach
- Strong communication skills
