CNC Operator & Druaghtsman

- Programming and operating 3 & 4 axis CNC machines on various materials (timbers, plastics, thin metals)
- Translating 3D CAD drawings into precise, cut-ready files
- Editing CAD files to factor in tolerances and material efficiency
- Optimising layouts for economical use of materials
- Collaborating with design & production teams, providing vital feedback on manufacturability
- Inspecting, cleaning, and preparing cut elements for next-stage assembly and finishing
- Managing workflow to meet production schedules
- Performing routine maintenance and keeping the workspace safe and organised
- Helping forecast material demand and maintaining stock levels
- Minimum 2 years’ CNC machining experience
- Proficiency with 2D & 3D CAD software (e.g., Rhino 8, Solidworks, AutoCAD)
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent time management and teamwork skills
- A motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
- Basic physical fitness to handle manual materials safely
- Experience with laser cutters and/or 3D printers
- Previous fabrication and assembly knowledge
- Forklift certification
