Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a National Account Manager - Independent Wholesale to be based in across the UK.The National Account Manager (NAM) is responsible for the achievement of volume, profit and net revenue targets for the Independent Wholesale & On Premise RTM business unit by working alongside the Business Unit Controller. This will be achieved whilst interacting closely with the wider Red Bull business including Field Sales, National Accounts, Logistics, Finance, Brand Marketing & Category Management. The strategic direction of the company is to be followed with emphasis on the key pillars within the Wholesale channel.The NAM will work alongside the BUC and NAEs responsible for the business unit and will be accountable for negotiating and managing JBPs and other key negotiations with the customer. RESPONSIBILITIESAreas that play to your strengthsAll the responsibilities we'll trust you with: Expand allACHIEVEMENT OF AGREED GROWTH PLANS BY ACCOUNTDeliver growth targets that are driven by business plans that are aligned and relevant to your customers and Red Bull priorities. Evaluation of activity within account with learnings applied.FORECASTING, EVALUATION AND DEVELOPMENTForecast, drive growth and track development of the account to be able to make well informed, accurate and timely business decisions. Ensure accurate forecasts of base and promotional volume and point of sale material, with subsequent evaluation of activities undertaken for future implementation.CUSTOMER CONTACT STRATEGYProactively manage customer contact strategy to remove obstacles to progress. Timely meetings with key contacts to ensure development of overall business plan. Contacts will include, but not be limited to Commercial, Logistics, Category, Finance and OperationsRED BULL CONTACT STRATEGYBuild and maintain internal contact strategy to help meet overall account KPI's. To include collaboration with Field Sales, Category Management, Logistics, Finance, Net Revenue Management, Brand & Shopper Marketing teams.LEADERSHIP & PEOPLE MANAGEMENTSupport the development and coaching of NAE by focusing on strengths and coaching to achieve mastery.BRAND ADVOCATETo be a brand advocate to your customer, the trade and Red Bull and mirror the brand values in order to deliver enhanced brand perception at all times.EXPERIENCEYour areas of knowledge and expertisethat matter most for this role:
  • Proven track record of achievement in within a commercial environment
  • Experience in the delivery of cost price increases
  • Experience of negotiating and running a joint business plan
  • Evidence of utilising and driving a customer contact strategy
  • Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to handle, evaluate and utilise sales data and insights effectively
  • Travel 30-40%
