- Lead daily kitchen operations when the Head Chef is off-site, producing high-quality food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
- Manage and support the team to ensure a smooth, efficient kitchen each day
- Prepare dishes to recipe specifications, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control
- Monitor and minimise food waste, track stock levels, place orders, and maintain accurate records
- Receive deliveries and ensure all items are stored correctly following FIFO principles
- Maintain exceptional hygiene standards and oversee regular deep cleans
- Ensure all staff are fully trained in their sections and compliant with food safety procedures
- Support team development and lead by example in a positive and professional environment
- At least 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef or experienced Senior CDP in a fast-paced environment
- A relevant culinary qualification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- A proactive leader who can motivate and manage a team effectively
- Full UK driving licence and regular access to a vehicle (essential)
- Eligibility to work in the UK and residency for at least the past 3 years
- Ability to pass enhanced DBS and full security vetting
- A successful trade test will be required as part of the interview process
