You will coach mentor and hire. You'll bring pace and calm in equal measure, so the team can deliver outstanding service without the stress.Your world will span VoIP connectivity and networking. Think SIP and hosted voice. Routers switches and firewalls. FTTP, FTTC and leased lines. You'll take ownership of service delivery and customer success so that SLAs are met and renewals feel easy, because the experience is excellent.You will run projects end to end, from scoping and design through implementation and handover.Orchestrating resources will be part of your remit, across engineering field and support. having direct contact with vendors and carriers, you'll spot risks early, solve problems quickly and turn post mortems into better ways of working next time.Partnering with sales and account management, you'll help shape solutions that are deliverable profitable and future-proof. You will keep standards high with documentation change control and sensible processes that help rather than hinder, as well as championing security best practice and resilience. Keeping the roadmap fresh will be something you love doing, so the tech stack stays up to date.You will suit this role if you are as comfortable in a design review as you are jumping on a tough customer call. You still love the tech and you also love growing people. You can talk clearly with non technical stakeholders and you can make decisions without waiting to be told.
