We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill this locum consultant post within the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) department at Leeds General Infirmary. Initial appointment will be for 6 months.This 10 PA post will deliver ACHD clinics and contribute to the ACHD on-call rota. It may be possible for the successful candidate to pursue an area of subspecialty interest in ACHD. This post is managed in the Leeds Childrens Hospital with strong links with the adult cardiology department.The post will be based at the Leeds General InfirmaryThe successful applicants should hold accreditation in Cardiology from the Royal College of Physicians (or equivalent) or be within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview, if currently within a training programme within the UK.Applicants should have established skills in ACHD. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development are essential.Consideration will be given to applicants who wish to work full or part time and those wishing to job share.
