- Leading the delivery of all technological aspects of surfacing operations across major infrastructure projects
- Acting as the subject matter expert (SME) in Asphalt and Surfacing technologies, embedding best practices and innovation throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborating with the area Technical Co-ordinator and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) teams to provide guidance and technical oversight from conception to completion
- Overseeing all testing processes, ensuring compliance with UKAS standards and third-party test house requirements
- Identifying and mitigating technical risks to maintain progress against key milestones and delivery dates
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies for employees and contractors
- Communicating effectively with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution
- Supporting cost recovery efforts related to technological challenges within projects
- Driving continuous improvement and technical excellence across all surfacing operations
- Extensive experience in a technical leadership role within the infrastructure or surfacing sector
- In-depth expertise in Asphalt and Surfacing technologies
- A history of successfully leading technical teams and delivering innovative surfacing solutions from concept to completion
- Strong knowledge of testing standards and accreditations, including UKAS and third-party test house protocols
- A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline
- Familiarity with technical project management tools and systems
