This is a business with global reach and offers career progression & training.Test Rig Technician duties:
- Calibrate electrical, temperature, load, force, flow, and pressure measuring instrumentation to traceable and accredited standards
- Ensure work is carried out on time by following job sheet instructions and schedules
- Support and participate in audits, both internal and customer-driven
- Develop and audit calibration procedures and uncertainty budgets
- Carry out additional technical tasks in line with your capability, with training provided where required
- Electrical diagnostic background
- A formal qualification in engineering or extensive hands-on calibration experience
- Understanding of calibration principles and metrology best practices
- Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Experience in jig/tool recertification is desirable
- Excellent reporting and communication skills
- Ability to work professionally in a customer-focused environment
