Are you ready for a rewarding new role where you can make a real difference in pupils' lives?We’re looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team!In this exciting and varied role, you’ll support pupils both in the classroom and in smaller group or one-to-one settings. You'll play a key part in helping students manage their emotions and behaviour, using proven strategies to create a calm, positive environment where learning can flourish.Your support will empower pupils to re-engage with their education, build confidence, and enjoy their school experience.Our pupils are aged 5 to 11 and follow personalised learning plans tailored to their individual needs. Many have SEMH needs, and the schools adopt a nurturing, pupil-centred approach to both education and behaviour support.A genuine passion for helping young people thrive is essential. An interest or background in the arts, sports, or swimming would be a fantastic bonus, as these areas often serve as powerful tools for building rapport, boosting confidence, and promoting emotional wellbeing.If you’re passionate about inclusion, ready for a challenge, and committed to making a difference – we’d love to hear from you.RequirementsTo be considered for the role of Behaviour Support Assistant you will:
- DESIRED: Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or Level 2/3 Early Years Educator
- DESIRED: Able to drive
- Ideally have prior school experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH or challenging behavioural needs.
- Be confident in behaviour management skills to de-escalate any threatening or aggressive behaviour.
- To mentor and engage with the pupils, delivering specifically designed educational packages.
- You will need to be resilient, empathetic, patient and not take things too personally.
- Excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
