The successful applicant will be working in our mixed age Key Stage 2 classes with the class teacher to support our children to achieve the very best outcomes.The post is for 22.25 hours per week, term time only and temporary for one year plus paid additional CPD sessions as required (additional hours may be available with regards to supporting extra-curricular activities). The hours for this position would be Monday & Wednesday: 8.45am - 12.00pm; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8.45am-12.00 & 1.00pm-3.00pm.We are looking for a Teaching Assistant:
  • with relevant NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent)

  • Grade C or above in English GCSE and mathematics GCSE
  • Minimum TA Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of working as a TA in a primary school setting
  • A working knowledge of the National Curriculum
Desirable Qualifications
  • First aid certificate
  • Safeguarding training
  • Experience of working in both Ks1 and KS2
  • Supporting children with developing early reading/phonics and maths skills
  • Forest School Experience
Essential Experience
  • Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age in a school setting
Desirable Experience
  • Experience of working in a Forest Schools environment or similar
