Join us and help make โ€œYour Life, Your Choiceโ€ a reality for thousands.Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:We're looking for caring and committed support staff to work on a 2:1 basis with a young woman living independently in her own home. This is a fresh start for her, and you'll play a key role in helping her settle into her new community.She has a hearing impairment, so patience and clear communication are essential. At times, she may become distressed and will need calm, consistent support. You'll work closely with professionals and follow established plans to ensure her safety and wellbeing.She loves getting out and about-shopping, going to the cinema and the theatre, and trying new activities-so someone who's enthusiastic and enjoys being active would be a great fit.๐Ÿง  Training in Makaton will be provided but any previous experience is a bonus๐Ÿš— A UK driving licence is helpful but not essential๐Ÿ•’ Shifts include 8am-3pm and 3pm-10pm, with some weekend work required - waking night shifts are also available๐Ÿ“… We're hiring for full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time roles.Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them.
