Through your leadership and strategic oversight, you'll help deliver memorable experiences, strengthen commercial performance, and elevate guest satisfaction.This is a hands-on role that involves being on your feet, so you'll bring a positive attitude and the stamina to support our fast-paced environment.About You:You will thrive at Cairn Group because you are:
  • Lead the Commercial Office team to consistently deliver outstanding guest service, aligned with our venue standards and values.
  • Take ownership of the conference diary, ensuring accurate bookings, optimal space utilisation, and seamless coordination across the team.
  • Safeguard data integrity across all sales, CRM, and booking platforms to enable accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Champion the conversion of showrounds by training and empowering the team to deliver inspiring, on-brand experiences that exceed expectations.
  • Support continuous improvement through regular audits, test calls, and hands-on training to ensure best practice in enquiry handling and diary management.
  • Oversee the effective operation of the groups and reservations systems, ensuring all processes are followed and standards maintained.
  • Manage and grow key account relationships while identifying and converting new revenue opportunities within the conference and events market.
  • Provide strong leadership for the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Office, mentoring your team and leading on HR-related matters where required.
  • Represent the team with confidence and clarity in all communications, particularly when under pressure or during service recovery.
  • Produce timely and accurate reports that support business reviews, revenue planning, and commercial decision-making.
  • Maintain responsibility for departmental payroll, people processes, and compliance with internal procedures.
