Job DescriptionHGV Class 1 driver evenings, needed in Tewkesbury, paying £16.00-18.00 per hour + annual leave on top, Ongoing work Monday to Friday, starting between 14:00-15:00am and finishing around 00:00-01:00am, Free on-site parking and optional overtime at £16.50pm.You will be required to complete a collection run each day before tipping at various locations. This position is full time with ongoing work until the end of January2026, Monday to Friday and will consist of mostly forklift loaded pallets on loading bays with the odd use of a pallet truck in some collection locations using a boxed trailer.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and deliver goods driving a Class 1 (Cat C+E) vehicle.
  • Complete delivery notes and paperwork accurately.
  • Represent the company professionally with a positive attitude.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
  • Always deliver customer service.
What We're Looking For:
  • Hold a full in date UK Class 1 driving licence.
  • Hold a valid in date CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
  • Positive & Professional 'Can Do' customer-facing attitude.
  • Be a team player, takes pride in keeping trucks clean & tidy.
  • Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements, Over the age of 21.
  • Pass the company induction, theory, walk round checks, driving & reversing.
Further Information:
  • Paying £16.00per hour, from 18:00pm the rate is £18.00ph, Option for overtime available.
  • Choice of weekly or monthly pay.
