Full DescriptionExcellent research career opportunity to work for a prestigious City global law practice.RESPONSIBILITIESUndertake research relating to corporate and financial transactions, intellectual property and litigation.
Analyse each request and identify the best research resources for efficient and cost-effective resolution.Present research results in a clear, logical manner with suggestions for further research if relevant.Use a range of business and legal online databases such as Westlaw, Lexis and MergerMarket.Assist with new joiner training and help to review and evaluate new electronic resources.Maintain the hardcopy collection.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSProven research experience in a law firm or corporate information department.
Some familiarity with business, intellectual property and legal research resources.
Ideally a degree in library science, business or law.Able to work independently as well as part of a firm-wide research teamExcellent written and oral communication skills
