Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a Tier 1 main contractor delivering a key section of the HS2 project in the Warwickshire region.This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of complex structures, earthworks, and highways packages on one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects, supporting the delivery of a world-class transport network.The RoleAs a Sub Agent, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing site activities, supervising engineers, and ensuring successful delivery of your allocated packages. You’ll be working closely with Section Engineers, Site Engineers, and Subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and programme targets are met.Key responsibilities include:Leading the delivery of earthworks, highways, and structures packagesManaging a team of Section Engineers and Site EngineersOverseeing daily site operations and liaising with the Project ManagerReviewing and approving ITPs, RAMS, and QA documentationCoordinating design changes, subcontractors, and stakeholdersEnsuring health, safety, and environmental complianceMonitoring programme progress and reporting on performanceAbout YouWe’re looking for a motivated Sub Agent with:Proven experience in major civils projects (HS2, highways, or structures preferred)A recognised civil engineering qualification (HNC/Degree)Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor engineering teamsGood understanding of QA processes, temporary works, and site coordinationProficiency with engineering software and survey equipmentValid CSCS card and right to work in the UK
