A specialist all-through school in Kingston, south London are looking for a SEN teacher to support children with Learning Disabilities. The schools offer day provision to students with a diverse range of needs including moderate to severe and complex learning needs, sensory processing difficulties and associated speech, language and communication difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorders. As a SEN you will be based inside the classroom supporting students within education. Class sizes are small to ensure the needs of each pupil are met. You will be responsible for supporting their educational, social, and emotional development.Requirements
The desired SEN Primary School Teacher will:
- Hold a QTS
- Have experience of working with those with SEN needs
- Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
- Be someone who is patient, caring and supportive
- Have a teaching style this is diverse and adaptable to meet the needs of individual students.
