
Associate QA Automation Engineer

- Assist in building and maintaining end-to-end test scripts using JavaScript/TypeScript with tools such as Cypress & Maestro
- Support the execution and reporting of automated test suites.
- Learn and apply new testing tools and technologies under guidance from senior team members.
- Collaborate on test plans for small features and contribute to test case creation.
- Work closely with engineers to understand feature requirements and help validate implementations.
- Participate in manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality releases.
- Join team ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to stay aligned with development progress.
- Contribute to a positive testing culture by asking questions, sharing learnings, and supporting team quality goals.

- 0–2 years of experience in QA or software testing, ideally with exposure to JavaScript-based automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, WebdriverIO, Playwright).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git/GitHub.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
- Exposure to SQL and working with databases is a plus.
- Experience in Agile methodologies is beneficial.
- Exposure to mobile app testing (iOS/Android) or accessibility testing.
- Awareness of the eCommerce domain.
- Eager to learn and grow in the QA field.
