- To be a team member contributing to the delivery of therapy services across the Medicine speciality, alongside the senior leadership team.
- To provide specialist advice to therapy staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team and wider team.
- To use client-centred approaches to patient care.
- To participate in and provide clinical and management supervision.
- To contribute to multi-disciplinary team working.
- To contribute to and lead on service improvement and quality initiatives.
- To use the Trust electronic patient record system.
- To abide by all Trust policies and procedures.
- To be able to respond flexibly and creatively to challenges.

- oExperience in a relevant junior role, including the management of a range of conditions, with evidence of additional knowledge acquired through formal and informal clinical supervision
- oDeveloped / Specialist clinical skills within relevant area
- oDelivery of relevant audit and service improvement
- oExperience of working in a client-driven/NHS environment.
- oPractice placement supervisor qualification
- oExperience of training/supporting/supervising others (including students)
- oDegree in Occupational Therapy
- oHCPC Registered Occupational therapist
- oEvidence of specialist post graduate CPD activities
- oEvidence of post graduate training within specialist area
- oExperience in the use of outcome measures to evaluate occupational therapy intervention
- oI am able to communicate complex information effectively, clearly, and accurately in plain simple language, both verbally and in writing.
- oI am organised, prioritise my own workload and take responsibility for delivering results within agreed timescales with changing priorities, pressures and with frequent interruptions.
- oI am committed to development and improvement of myself and the wider team. I welcome the opportunity to implement change and improvements.
