- Reactive and planned maintenance on hot and cold water systems
- Responding to all allocated job requests for customers at Drax
- Multi skilling is an essential requirement to assist in the general maintenance and repairs to building fabric and associated equipment as necessary
- Liaise with and manage external contractors as an when appropriate to meet the needs of the business
- Identification and reporting/repairing of defects and maintenance requirements on site
- Health & safety duties; ensuring that any property worked in or attended is operated in a safe and legally compliant manner at all times
- City & Guilds Plumbing qualification (including water regulations)
- Have a positive and professional attitude
- Have a proactive attitude towards maintaining buildings at a world class quality level
- Hold excellent communications skills and the ability to liaise with clients & subcontractors
- Possess good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a variety of tasks
- Possess a positive approach to learning, development and progression
- Have a trade background or good practical core skills together with previous maintenance experience
- Have a flexible outlook towards hours worked (some out of hours working may be required)
- Have working knowledge of current Health and Safety practice
- Hold a full driving license, valid in the UK
- First Aid trained
- Legionella training
- Confined space trained
- WIAPS Approved Plumber
- Unvented hot water system qualification
