An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Support Secretary to join our Children's Services team within the Women and Children's Division.Excellent communication, organisational and secretarial abilities are essential.Main duties of the jobYou will responsible for maintaining patients' records, processing incoming and outgoing correspondence, producing correspondence from audio/copy and dealing with telephone calls.In addition, you will liaise with Consultants, other Trust staff, and organisations outside of the department in order to resolve queries.You will have the ability to work under pressure, prioritise your workload and to deal with confidential and sensitive issues in a professional manner.The minimum requirements for this post are:-
  • AMSPAR Medical Terminology Certificate or equivalent experience
  • RSA Level II word processing or equivalent
  • Good IT and word processing skills
  • Audio Typing Skills
