We’re looking for a permanent, part time (0.8) Early Years SEN Support Worker.About usThe Early Years SEN team seeks to foster an inclusive approach to everything that we do. We recognise diversity in the workforce as an enormous strength that broadens our perspectives, enhances our understanding and enriches our teams.About the roleThe successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of early child development along with experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities. They will be committed to working in partnership with families and must be able to work flexibly and creatively in order to provide effective interventions for young children with Special Educational needs in the home environment as well as in early years settings and school nursery classes. You will need to be able to work independently as well as within a multi agency team of professionals. You will work in partnership with families, early years settings and schools and partners from health and social care to improve learning outcomes for young children (Birth - 5 years) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).Knowledge and experience of working in the field of SEND and/or family support is essential.Rewards and benefits
