Etive House Care Home is located in the picturesque village of Benderloch by Oban, offering small group living accommodation for up to 62 residents.We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the culinary team with the preparation and delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals while ensuring the kitchen remains clean, safe, and well-organised. Your work will play a key part in creating a positive dining experience for our residents.What We Offer

What You Will Do
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will help prepare and serve meals to a high standard, keeping the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. You will maintain a clean and hygienic environment, safely store and rotate stock, and assist with checking deliveries. You will follow food safety and health and safety guidelines, support with cleaning schedules, and work closely with the wider team to ensure excellent service for residents.What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone with good organisational skills, attention to detail, and a team-focused attitude. A basic understanding of food safety and hygiene is preferred, but full training can be provided. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential – what matters most is reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.About Us
