Are you looking for long-term progression, strategic influence, and the chance to build a department from the ground up, within a company that values innovation, compliance, and environmental responsibility?Principal People’s Environment & Sustainability division are proud to support an expanding subcontract manufacturer with a newly created role where you will play your part in the business growth by driving the production of sustainable products.The business services over 2,500 resellers and produces millions of printed products annually using cutting-edge technology and sustainable processes, with a strong emphasis on internal development and cross-departmental collaboration.In this newly created role, they require a Product Compliance and Sustainability Lead to ensure regulatory product compliance and develop their sustainability strategy from the ground up. The role will see you acting as the business’s regulatory expert—handling UK and EU compliance standards (including REACH, RoHS, and GSPR), supporting product development processes, and working directly with the board to shape and deliver the company’s sustainability roadmap.This is an exciting opportunity to join an agile, innovative, growth organisation offering leadership opportunities, and the ability to make a tangible impact on the business and drive its sustainability journey.The Role
  • Product Compliance and Sustainability Lead
  • Hands-on and strategic role focused on product compliance and environmental sustainability
  • Lead the development of a sustainability roadmap and compliance systems across the business
  • Ensure products meet UK and EU regulations including REACH, RoHS, WEEE, and GSPR
  • Engage directly with customers, suppliers, and internal teams on compliance and sustainability issues
  • Based on £35,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Pension
The Person
  • Fresh graduates in a sustainability related field will be considered
  • Knowledge / understanding of product safety regulations
