Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Prepper Required, in Ludlow, Shropshire
Salary: Up to £17 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday (overtime subject to availability)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer / Prepper to join a reputable Accident Repair Centre in the Ludlow area. You will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting and applying high-quality finishes, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting deadlines.Key Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and prime vehicle surfaces for painting
Colour Mixing: Mix and match paints to ensure consistency and accuracy
Spray Painting: Apply paint using spray guns and other techniques for a smooth, even finish
Quality Control: Inspect painted surfaces and carry out touch-ups as necessary
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain paint sprayers and related equipment to ensure reliability
Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols in the Workshop
Documentation: Keep accurate records of paint mixtures, processes, and job progress
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer in an Automotive or Accident Repair environment
Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Paint Spraying (or equivalent)
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
Team player with a flexible and proactive attitude
