Role: Algorithms Engineer
Salary: £45,000-£57,000 plus bonuses and paid overtime
Location(s): Stevenage (preferred) or Bristol - hybrid working, typically 4 days a week on-siteJoin a specialist engineering team working on advanced Radio Frequency (RF) seeker technologies.At this well-known defence company that produces military weapons systems, your dedication and performance will be rewarded greatly with bonuses, annual salary reviews and paid overtime among other benefits.This role offers hands-on involvement in developing, testing and integrating algorithms critical to complex defence systems.Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and validate algorithms to ensure operational performance
  • Conduct detailed system studies to identify deficiencies and improvements
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate algorithms into seeker models
  • Drive innovation using agile methods, machine learning and AI techniques
About you:
  • Proven experience in algorithm development and data analysis
  • Ability to plan and run investigations to support systems design
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, and ideally Simulink
  • Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing (highly desirable)
