​Accounts ManagerHale, Manchester£44,000 - £50,000 (Depending on Experience)​Accountancy practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are partnering with a highly regarded independent firm of accountants, who are seeking an Accounts Manager to join their team in Hale, Manchester.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive and respected firm of chartered accountants, playing an integral role in their continued success. As an Accounts Manager, you will work closely with the Directors, managing a diverse portfolio of clients including small to medium limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from various sectors. You will be the primary point of contact for your clients, ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently.The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA Qualified or QBE with strong and varied general practice experience. Excellent communication skills are essential to build and maintain successful relationships with multiple clients.This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm in Hale, Manchester within a supportive and friendly working environment.The firm offers flexible working options to support their staff and can offer a realistic platform to progress into senior management.​Responsibilities:
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients from various industry sectors.
  • Supporting partners and clients with bespoke queries and ad hoc project work.
  • Preparation and review of Statutory Accounts and Management Accounts.
  • Preparation and review of tax computations and returns.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for an array of clients.
  • Managing your own billing, workload, and that of the team efficiently to exceed client expectations.
  • Reviewing the work of junior staff, providing guidance and support as required.
​Skills:
  • ACCA/ACA Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
  • Essential practice experience.
  • Client management experience.
  • Experience reviewing work prepared by junior staff.
