
Site Tower Pre-assembly Package Manager

- Manage tower pre-assembly activities, ensuring operational execution and completion to meet GE OFW goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for site pre-assembly activities.
- Monitor the on-time delivery and load-out readiness of tower pre-assembly tasks.
- Oversee the development and implementation of method statements for tower pre-assembly.
- Manage all operational aspects, including SIMOPS and COMOPS if necessary.
- Issue Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and manage mechanical and electrical certificates per the quality plan.
- Enforce the highest Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.
- Participate in internal and external weekly progress meetings and daily toolbox talks.
- Supervise subcontractor mobilization and ensure the availability of tooling, materials, and PPE.
- Manage offshore and onshore pre-assembly kits for bolting, tooling, and M&E equipment.
- Monitor subcontractor personnel training and certifications.
- Advise the Harbour Manager on major issues affecting EHS or schedule aspects.
- Review and approve changes in scope and schedule.
- Support the Harbour Manager with contractual and budgetary topics related to the M&E package subcontract.
- Wealth of experience managing mechanical, electrical, or construction activities.
- Open to working with a diverse team, including union and non-union subcontractor personnel.
- Proven experience in complex construction projects and schedule management.
- Expertise in subcontractor management.
- Knowledge in electrical engineering, HV cable connections, and LV line energization.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- Experience in wind projects is advantageous but not required.
- Understanding of heavy lifting activities and associated EHS requirements.
- Strong experience in managing mechanical and electrical activities.
- Familiarity with standard site safety regulations.
- Passionate, motivated, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to bridge gaps between customer representatives, unionized workers, and subcontractors.
- Negotiation skills with various stakeholders.
- GWO certification required.
