Are you an experienced Electrical Technician looking to make a real impact on high-security, high-complexity projects? We’re hiring skilled professionals to join a dedicated team delivering installation, maintenance, and commissioning services at a critical site in Aldermaston.What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll play a key role in supporting the full lifecycle of electrical systems and equipment – from installation to maintenance, inspection, and decommissioning. Your tasks will include:Electrical installation and modificationsTesting, trials, and commissioningEMIT (Examination, Maintenance, Inspection & Test) activitiesWorking from technical drawings and schematicsEnsuring all work complies with regulatory and legislative standardsAccurately completing all required records and documentationWhat We’re Looking ForRecognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent trainingCity & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Engineering18th Edition IET Wiring RegulationsStrong experience in installation, maintenance, inspection & testProficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and drawingsFamiliarity with IEE Regulations and site-based electrical workConfident using hand and power toolsDesirable (But Not Deal-Breakers):City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)Experience on regulated or nuclear-licensed sitesTriple Bar Training, CSCS Card, or Health & Safety Level 2GCSEs in Maths, English, and a technical subjectKnowledge of AWE procedures or appointment as NP(E)Security RequirementsAll applicants must hold SC clearance and be eligible for DV clearance.
