A School in Dagenham is seeking a Drama Teacher to join their Performing Arts department from September 2025.This full-time, permanent position is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and passionate teacher to deliver inspiring Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or an enthusiastic ECT, you'll receive the support you need to thrive.Key Responsibilities
  • Teach engaging Drama lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver lessons that promote creativity, performance, and confidence
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Support and contribute to extra-curricular activities, including performances and clubs
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
  • Participate in departmental planning and whole-school events
Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and creative flair
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A passion for the arts and student engagement
  • ECTs welcome with full support and induction provided
