Our Care in the Home business is growing across Exeter and surrounding areas. We are looking for warm-hearted, highly motivated, proactive Bank Support Workers who share our commitment to providing empowering care that enables clients to live independently in their own homes.If you're someone who leads with kindness, lifts others up with patience and positivity, and believes that caring is a calling, not just a job-you could be exactly who we're looking for!This is a zero contract with regular shifts once assigned to a client to enable continuity of care, contracted hours can be discussed once you are assigned to support a client.You will attend our sector leading 2 week induction course so you are confident and ready to go once we have a matching client! This will include staying away from home for 5 days, we will cover the cost of travel and accommodation. During this time you will have both face to face training with our clinicians and complete online courses to ensure you feel ready and confident when you support our client.Please note: We cannot offer sponsorship for this role and therefore will not be able to progress any candidates who require a certificate of sponsorship to work in the UK.You need:
  • A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible
  • Previous experience of working in complex care is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS - we will cover the cost of this
Our Clients:Our care in the home services we support children, young people and adults with a wide range of conditions, including: brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions and neurodegenerative diseases, respiratory conditions and gastro-intestinal conditions, including percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) feeding.We don't just look after the clinical needs of the people we support.
