- Doctorate of clinical psychology as accredited by HCPC including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology
- HCPC Registration as a Clinical Psychologist
- Competence in two or more distinct psychological approaches to assessment, formulation and treatment.
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Post-doctoral training &/or qualification (QICN) in neuropsychology or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice.
- Experience of Neuropsychological assessment and intervention with neurological conditions/acquired brain injury.
- Possess communication skills to convey sensitive information
- Experience of working in a neuropsychology department in an acute neuroscience center.
- Experience of working with patients who have a diagnosis of a functional neurological disorder.
- Able to use clinical judgement to assess the risk for patients presenting with anger, depression, suicidal ideation/intent and other psychological vulnerabilities.
- Possess and apply advanced range of psychological theories in the areas of health psychology, clinical psychology counselling psychology and Neuropsychology
- Manage waiting lists and caseloads.
