Job Type: Full-TimAbout the RoleTSR Legal are pleased to be seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Property Title Checker to join a dedicated Title Checking team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying title documents related to commercial properties, identifying any issues that may affect title validity, and ensuring a clear path to closing. Your work will be essential in supporting smooth and compliant real estate transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough reviews of title searches, reports, and public records for commercial real estate transactionsIdentify and analyse title issues such as liens, encumbrances, easements, boundary disputes, and ownership discrepanciesInterpret legal documents including deeds, mortgages, plats, surveys, and court recordsSummarise and prepare title commitment packages for underwriters and legal teamsWork closely with underwriters, attorneys, escrow officers, and other stakeholders to resolve title defectsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal title regulationsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of title insurance practices, real estate law, and commercial transaction trendsRequirements3+ years of experience in title examination, with a focus on commercial propertiesStrong understanding of title insurance, legal descriptions, and real estate documentationFamiliarity with title software and public record systemsExcellent analytical skills and high attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple files and deadlines efficientlyPreferred QualificationsExperience with multi-state or complex commercial transactionsSolicitor / Legal Executive or equivalentBenefitsCompetitive salaryFlexible work environment (remote/hybrid options available)Professional development opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team cultureIf you have the experience and knowledge to succed in this role, please apply directly below or contact Hannah at TSR Legal: Hannah@tsrlegal.co.uk / 02920 388100.
