This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the events industry and a passion for finding innovative and unique venues. A strong, existing network of venue contacts globally is key.
The Venue Finder will lead the venue search process, negotiate contracts, and act as a key point of contact for clients and venues, ensuring seamless delivery of exceptional service. Extensive experience in venue finding within an agency, venue, or event-focused environment.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Venue Sourcing & Negotiation:
- Conduct detailed venue searches, negotiate competitive commission rates, and arrange venue show rounds.
- Leverage extensive industry knowledge to recommend innovative and unique venues aligned with client briefs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with venue contacts to ensure preferential terms and seamless communication.
- Attend client meetings with or without an event producer, capturing requirements and providing tailored proposals.
- Deliver post-event follow-ups to secure future opportunities and maintain client relationships.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals, incorporating creative solutions and thorough details of recommended venues.
- Collaborate with event producers to align venue options with event concepts and client objectives.
- Manage venue contracts, ensuring all details align with client requirements and business standards.
- Share expertise and venue insights with team members to enhance overall performance and knowledge.
- Attend trade shows, FAM trips, and networking events to stay informed about industry trends and build relationships.
- Continuously update knowledge of venues and destinations to provide the highest standard of service
- Current driving licence
- Ability to travel around the UK & overseas
- Always comply with the company code of conduct.
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries.
