- To provide effective, efficient and high quality physiotherapy treatment programmes for respiratory patients in the community setting and within the pulmonary rehabilitation service. To lead assessments, group education sessions and exercise classes adjusting exercises according to patients' health status on that day.
- To be able to undertake oxygen therapy assessment and prescription (Long term oxygen therapy and ambulatory oxygen).
- To act as a source of expertise on the management of respiratory patients providing support and advice to other health professionals/agencies both within and external to the Trust
- To communicate with patients in a way that empowers them to make informed choices about the management of their condition and engages them in the planning and delivery of treatment. Taking into account cultural, linguistic, medical, emotional, psychological and physical factors and utilising available resources to facilitate effectiv communication.

- Car owner with Valid driving license
- oA minimum of 2 years post graduate experience
- oMinimum of 1 year's NHS experience
- oExperience of running a rehabilitation classes
- oPost graduate experience in respiratory
- oBroad range of experience at B5
- oAppreciation of constraints to working in the community
- oParticipated in clinical audit Experience in research / literature reviews
- oAt least 1 years in specialist respiratory care including respiratory outpatients, ITU, and medical wards
- oExperience of student supervision/ clinical education
- oExperience of teaching in a clinical setting
- oExperience of operational team management
- oAbility to use electronic clinical system e.g. EMIS, Cerner
- oRemains updated with professional practice and new research
- oAble to present information, written and orally, in a clear and logical manner
- oWillingness to lead staff training
- oAbility to manage time effectively
