
Business Development Manager

- Work with the Business Development Director to identify and generate business opportunities in accordance with BP2027, Sector Map and Heat Map.
- Focus on the emerging sectors (energy, defence and water) to identify and assess opportunities and develop customer relationships.
- Use Salesforce to capture and disseminate customer and opportunity intelligence, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data is recorded.
- Ensure the BU Major Opportunities Report is accurate (monthly)
- Undertake Opportunity Assessments on prospective leads/opportunities and present the outcome of these to members of the OU Leadership Team.
- Degree or equivalent
- Appropriate professional qualification
- Relevant experience in business development and/or strategic business management
- Excellent people skills, including situational awareness, networking, and influencing.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
