Residential Conveyancing Solicitor (3 years'+)Join a respected and forward-thinking Scottish law firm as a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, based in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE to play a key role in a well-established property team.In this position, you’ll advise clients on all legal aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of title. You’ll also support the local Partner in the smooth running of the branch and contribute to maintaining and growing the firm's strong reputation in the Edinburgh market.What you’ll be doing:
  • Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters
  • Advising clients through the full property transaction lifecycle
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documentation
  • Examining title deeds and reporting to clients and lenders
  • Overseeing paralegals and mentoring Trainee Solicitors
  • Supporting the day-to-day management of the branch and property team
  • Cross-selling services and building client relationships
You will:
  • Be a Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Show a proactive, client-focused approach and enjoy working as part of a team
  • Bring experience or interest in mentoring junior team members
  • Have experience in private client matters such as wills and powers of attorney (desirable but not essential)
