The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a consistent record of leading by influence, driving new product formulation excellence, and encouraging a performance-oriented culture.You will be responsible for developing formulation space using Arxada products, driving customer facing technical work and documents, driving customer facing sales support, and identifying third party support for formulation needs.Essential Job Functions:
  • Drive financial results (as measured by Revenue, Innovation Revenue, and Innovation Margin) through support of existing customers and development of new business at growth accounts in the Personal Care market segment, particularly with respect to formulation ingredients and emulsifiers
  • Provide unmatched technical support and service to customers, building concepts and positioning products in support of Marketing initiatives & Sales lead generation
  • Develop recognized leadership in the industry through participation in technical conferences, trade shows, and technical committees
  • Execute customer-driven innovation projects to create new value-added solutions, including leadership of projects
  • Create linkage between Sales, Marketing, and Global R&D team to provide regional market insights, support of technical applications and develop new data packages for product support, and to assist with regional launch of R&D programs in Preservation
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in cosmetic sciences, biological sciences, chemical sciences, or a related scientific/technical field
  • Min. 10+ years demonstrated ability in a formulation or product development role within the cosmetic, personal care, or home care industry
  • Proven experience influencing teams in a product development environment
  • Strong knowledge of preservation systems, emulsification and rheology formulation, and new product development systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English; German or French proficiency is an asset
  • Solid understanding of US and EU regulatory standards preferred
