The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team and inspire pupils through engaging and creative teaching.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Year 5.
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development of each child.
- Uphold the school’s values and contribute to its inclusive and nurturing ethos.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5 (desirable but not essential)
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective classroom management strategies
- Passionate about raising attainment and supporting children to reach their full potential
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Holds a valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willing to apply for one
- Committed to professional development and continuous improvement
