These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.Connect to your opportunityAs a Consultant / Senior Consultant in our Strategy, Data & Reporting practice within Business Finance, you'll play a key role in delivering impactful solutions the ensure our clients have the right information, at the right time to run their businesses. We have three core offerings: Vision, Strategy & Framework; Reporting & Visualisation; and Data & Integration. We are looking for individuals with Finance expertise to collaborate with a wider project team on client engagements, contributing your skills to one of these key areas.You will be responsible for:Solution Design & Delivery
  • Identify and document client requirements for KPIs, data structures, reporting design, and architecture through workshops and engagement.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for performance management and reporting solutions.
  • Design data models and mock-ups, defining data requirements for new reports.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure solutions meet their business needs.
  • Leverage expertise in FP&A, operational finance, and accounting to ensure data requirements align with standard finance processes.
  • Cleary present and develop high-quality deliverables, demonstrating strong critical thinking and storytelling skills.
Client & Project Management
  • Effectively respond to and manage client expectations, advising on leading practices across Strategy, Data & Reporting offerings.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including monitoring progress, risks, and issues.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, leveraging available resources, experience, and standard methodologies, including AI capabilities where appropriate.
  • Utilise internal tools effectively, including proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Work effectively within diverse and inclusive teams.
Broader Collaboration
  • Contribute to the development of Strategy, Data and Reporting offerings, aligning with Deloitte's thought leadership.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and client relationship management, demonstrating market awareness and client needs understanding.
Connect to your skills and professional experienceTo be successful in this role you should be able to demonstrate:
  • Proven experience in at least one of our offerings (Vision, Strategy & Framework; Reporting & Visualisation; Data, Master Data & Integration or equivalent) within management consulting or equivalent experience in industry.
  • A track record of successfully owning and managing project tasks, effectively engaging and influencing finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A proven ability to work effectively in diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
Desirable Skills:
  • ACA, CIMA, or ACCA, or equivalent qualification (or part-qualified).
  • Experience with at least one of our technology enabler tools (Oracle EPM, SAP, Workday, Anaplan or Microsoft Power BI or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with key ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
