Job Title: Responsible Individual – Children’s Residential Services
Location: Oldham and Bradford
Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum (Full-time, 37.5 hours)
Part-time Option: 19 hours per week available on a pro-rata basis

They offer full autonomy in your role, allowing you to lead in a way that reflects your experience and dedication, while being fully supported by a senior leadership team who genuinely care.Growth will be in line with sufficient and adequate staff recruitment as well as staff training.The Homes & Young PeopleThe homes will be a mixture of solo placements and 2-bed homes , operating under a dual Statement of Purpose (SoP) to support children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) as well as Learning Disabilities (LD) . While both needs are catered for, the company has a strategic focus on LD referrals , recognising the positive impact this can have on long-term staff retention, consistency of care, and the stability of placements.Each home is designed to offer a therapeutic, nurturing, and structured environment where young people feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.Who We’re Looking ForWe are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and values-driven leader who is ready to make a real difference.This role is ideal for someone who:Has at least 2 years’ experience in a senior leadership role within children’s residential careHolds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)Has extensive knowledge of Ofsted regulations , including the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality StandardsIs confident working at a strategic level, ensuring the quality and compliance of the homes under their remitIs highly child-centred , always keeping the welfare and development of young people at the heart of all decisionsLeads by example – inspiring and developing staff teams to deliver consistently outstanding careRecognises the importance of staff wellbeing and promotes a positive team culture built on trust and collaborationThis is an opportunity for someone who thrives on supporting others, celebrates achievements big and small, and wants to be instrumental in the ongoing success and growth of the service.❗ Please note: Candidates with experience solely in CQC-regulated services will not be considered .
