Interaction Technical have partnered with a leading construction materials group based in Derby on their search for a skilled electrical engineer to join their growing team. Our client operates a network of quarries, concrete and asphalt plants throughout the UK and have now reached a stage of growth where they are looking to add to their Electrical Maintenance team.The Package:

- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance system
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on quarry and asphalt plant equipment (crushers, screeners, loaders, burners etc)
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely, working with PLC's, relays and VSD's
- Support plant improvement projects and upgrades
- Respond to unplanned plant shutdowns and emergencies
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams, as well as external contractors
- Travel to other sites in the Midlands as required
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience within heavy Electrical Engineering (essential)
- Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment (essential)
- Strong knowledge of electrical LV isolation and maintenance techniques (essential)
- Understanding of medium/high voltage networks and switching methods (essential)
- 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (advantageous)
- BS7671 Inspection & Testing knowledge (advantageous)
- PLC and VSD experience (advantageous)
- Full UK driving licence
