products.This is a great opportunity for recent food graduates to begin their career in the food manufacturing industry and be part of a supportive technical team, gaining hands on experience with supplier management, food safety systems and regulatory compliance.What your day to day will look like:
- Manage the full supplier approval process for ingredients, packaging, and services, including risk assessments, specifications, and compliance with food safety standards.
- Review and maintain supplier documentation (e.g. HACCP, BRC, ISO, allergen controls, COAs) and ensure the Approved Supplier List is up to date and audit ready.
- Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and NPD teams to onboard new suppliers and support product development initiatives.
- Lead investigations into supplier non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) as needed.
- Support audits and customer visits, complete technical questionnaires, and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer-specific standards.
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, VACCP/TACCP
- Experience in a technical or QA role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
