SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary – Manchester – Temp to PermLocation: Manchester
Contract: Full-time, term time only, temporary with potential to become permanent
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £89 – £100 per dayWe are recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Manchester secondary school supporting students with additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.Key Responsibilities:Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, both in class and during interventions.Work alongside the SENCO and external agencies to implement support strategies.Promote independence and self-confidence in learners.Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and behaviour.Support teachers with lesson preparation and differentiation.Requirements:Previous experience supporting SEN students in a school or specialist provision.Knowledge of a range of SEN strategies and interventions.Resilience, empathy, and patience.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
