Are you a passionate and creative Design & Technology Teacher looking for a fresh opportunity this September? ABC Teachers is currently recruiting for a qualified and motivated DT Supply Teacher to work in secondary schools across Telford.About the roleWe have long-term roles available in Good-rated schools, offering a stable and rewarding environment where you can thrive.Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and practical Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Adapt quickly to new environments and confidently manage classroom behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to support students’ learning and progress.
  • Plan and deliver lessons where required, or follow existing plans left by the absent teacher.
  • Opportunity for regular work and long-term placements in supportive schools.

RequirementsTo be considered for the role of Design & Technology Teacher you will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Specialism in Design & Technology (Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design or similar).
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to travel to schools in and around Telford.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
