Environmental (Regulatory/Compliance) Managing Associate

Our client are looking for an experienced Environmental Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join their growing team in their Bristol office.
You can expect to advise on high-value, complex matters including:
- Environmental permitting and compliance
- Waste regulation and end-of-waste issues
- Contaminated land, emissions and pollution incidents
- Water resources and climate change law
- Crisis and risk management, including enforcement defence
- Transactional support on real estate and corporate deals
- Ideally 6+ years PQE in environmental/regulatory law but those with less PQE are still encouraged to apply if you have demonstrated experience and technical expertise in environmental/regulatory matters
- Strong track record in compliance, permitting, waste, pollution and contaminated land work
- Experience of regulatory investigations and enforcement defence desirable
- Commercial awareness with the ability to advise both public and private sector clients
- Proactive, enthusiastic and collaborative with excellent communication skills
