Based in Sophia Antipolis FR or Cambridge UK, the central engineering operations teams at Arm provide a variety of services to support and drive engineering efficiency activities. We are looking for someone which would be interested in joining our department mainly working on our export control and security compliance projects.We are a team with multifaceted strengths, working collaboratively towards a shared goal of Engineering Efficiency. Through accountabilities rooted in Product Ownership, Organisational Change, Delivery Excellence, Reporting and Compliance & Governance, we have a reputation for consistent high-quality contributions towards outstanding EngineeringYou will work with geographically dispersed teams developing your ability to support and spearhead work whilst building your own Arm network and establishing relationships. Some occasional global travel may be required.Role Snapshot:This role, based at our Sophia Antipolis or Cambridge office, covers a wide range of duties spanning project management, process management in export controls and security compliance.Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with Engineering, Delivery, Legal and Licensing teams, and other key internal partners, you will support the delivery of initiatives, tools, reports and processes.
  • You will communicate and connect with teams to promote and embed changes across the organisation, whilst being mindful of the cultural and behavioural impacts of change.
  • Working to help develop and improve processes and ways of working to increase effectiveness and efficiency within Engineering.
  • Report on progress of initiatives and business as usual activities; raising any risks or issues and highlighting any known dependencies or blockers.
  • With your teammates, you will build and maintain online team areas to ensure relevant and accurate data and information is available, regularly audited and easily accessible.
  • Support overall delivery, operation, performance measurement, monitoring and reporting.
Education and QualificationsThis position will suit people who want a career in compliance in a leading IP organization. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who are excellent teammates, adaptable self-starters, and proficient communicators.Essential Skills and Experience:
  • At least three years’ experience in a role involving compliance or governance.
  • Excellent social skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn how to use unfamiliar tools and systems.
  • Competence in addressing various partners, to multi-task and prioritize in a multifaceted environment.
  • Experience of reporting and data analysis tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Experience of line management
  • Experience of project management
  • Experience of using virtual communication tools.
  • Attention to detail, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to competently communicate and interact using several methods, whether in person or using available technology.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK and EU dual-use controls and US export regulations
  • Knowledge of export control and security regulations and/or Arm processes
